Area Information

The Elephant Corridor Hotel is located in Sigiriya in the cultural triangle, 4 hours from Colombo.

The hotel has a stunning view of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion's Rock), one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka. It was built between 477-495 AD.

The ruins, which lie on the steep slopes of a 370-metre high granite peak, were built by King Kassapa I. A series of staircases and galleries from the huge Lion's Rock provide access to the site.
